Travel by train
Take the train RE10 from Weeze, Geldern, Krefeld, Dusseldorf and get off at Kleve trainstation. Take the bus SB58 in direction to Nijmegen, get off at the “Museum Kurhaus/Tiergarten” stop. The Zoo is to your right.
Travel by bike
The Zoo Cleves is easily and environmentally friendly reachable by bike. There is a direct connection from Nijmegen and Kranenburg and we provide bike parking at the entrance.
Travel by car
Adress: Tiergartenstraße 74, 47533 Kleve
Take the motorway A57 and leave at exit 2, turn right on B9 and follow the street for approximately 15 km. After you reached Kleve follow the signage to „Tiergarten Kleve“. After you turned left on to Tiergartenstraße you will find the carpark to the right.
If you take motorway A3, take the exit „Emmerich“ and then follow the signage leading you to Kleve.
Our carpark is free and has a charging station for electric cars.
Travel by plane
The airport Düsseldorf-Niederrhein (NRN) in Weeze is only 30 km from the Zoo Cleves. Follow the signage towards Kleve. After you reached Kleve follow the signage to „Tiergarten Kleve“. After you turned left on to Tiergartenstraße you will find the carpark to the right.
Important information for China Lights
If possible, please use a bicycle or public transportation (RE 10, SB 58) for your journey to China Lights Kleve. If you come by car, please also use the parking lot at the Gesamtschule am Forstgarten (10 minutes walk through the historic park directly to the zoo) or one of the numerous public parking lots in Kleve (e.g. Wasserburgallee, Minoritenplatz,…). Please only park in designated areas and note that parking along the street “Tiergartenstraße” and in grassy areas is not permitted.
